And the winners are!

On the 22nd of June, the Grand Finale of the TU/e Contest took place in the Blauwe Zaal hosted by Renze Klamer. The closing event of the 9th edition of the contest was a great success with jury members, partner network, finalists and their supporters attending the show.

Team HART, E-SET and InMotion were announced as the winners of the Category Awards of the TU/e Contest 2023. The Suweve, Voltalgae and Aero Team Eindhoven were the runners up and are the ones to watch closely in the coming months. They respectively participated in the People, Planet and Prosperity category.

Other winners during the Grand Finale included The Suweve who won the Audience Award by receiving the most votes by the guests. The ASML Makers Award went to T.E.S.T., Vanderlande awarded E-SET with the Sustainable Logistics Innovation Award. The Boost your Tech Career Award by Mikrocentrum went to EDEN and InMotion was announced the winner of the Energy Transition Award.

The 9th edition of TU/e Contest was once again a great success. More than 50 projects in three categories, with over 150 students from different fields of study, diverse backgrounds and motivations participated in this year's trajectory. Starting with the Meet & Greet in March, followed by many workshops and coaching sessions, the teams made great steps in their entrepreneurial journey and developed many skills which they got to use during the Grand Finale. They repeatedly demonstrated why the Technical University of Eindhoven is known for their level of entrepreneurship and innovation.

The TU/e Contest is an initiative of TU/e innovation Space and offers engineering students a platform to develop their entrepreneurial competences. You get support to transform innovative ideas related to societal issues into viable business ideas, in co-creation with a broad range of experts in the field.

Throughout the competition, you develop entrepreneurial competences during workshops and brainstorm sessions with like-minded students. On top of that, you will be able to meet coaches from both educational and business environments in several online and offline networking events.
