The Mission

To build a data-driven platform that parameterizes sustainability of cars and help potential car buyers make the right choice for the environment.

The Challenge 

There is no denying the fact that vehicles make a big dent in the environment, whether it is during manufacturing or running on the roads. However, as a community, we are not yet at the point where people can give up their cars and still fulfil all their mobility needs. But there are some cars out there that are greener than others.

The Solution

We are building Karama- a platform that objectively assesses the 'green index' of vehicles based on a number of parameters for eg. Emissions, Carbon footprint while manufacturing, Use of recycled materials, Repairability etc. So we help assess cars in a way that helps the potential car buyer make a right choice in choosing the most sustainable car based on their needs. To draw an analogy, the way organizations like Global NCAP and Euro NCAP objectify safety index, we want to objectify the green index.
